Short Bio
Johannes Luger is Professor and Chair of Strategy and Decision Theory at the University of Zurich. He holds a Master's degree in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and a Ph.D. in Strategy from the University of St. Gallen. Prior to his appointment in Zurich, he served as Assistant and Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School (Denmark) and as a visiting scholar at the University of California (Irvine Campus) and the Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania). Johannes is affiliated with LMU University (Munich) and the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL Hospitality Business School).
Johannes Luger's research focuses on strategy and decision-making. His work is empirical and draws on quantitative and experimental methods. His research has been published in the leading academic journals in the field, including the Academy of Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and many others.
