Short Bio

Helmut Dietl is the chairman of the Center for Research in Sports Administration and a full professor at the Chair for Services & Operations Management at University of Zurich. He has published many research papers in the field of theoretical and empirical sports economics. Helmut Dietl is the associate editor of the Journal of Sports Economics and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Sport Finance. He regularly writes an economics column on cash.ch; together with Egon Franck, he has published a book on sports economics "Millisekunden und Milliarden - 30 Analysen zur Ökonomie des Sports".
