Zurich’s historic Old Town, with its unique blend of history, culture, and architecture, offers the perfect setting for this experience. As one of the city’s most popular guided tours, it provides fascinating insights into Zurich’s rich and colorful past.

This approximately two-hour walk begins at the University of Zurich and leads through picturesque alleyways, past historic buildings and lively squares, illustrating the city’s development over the centuries. The route also passes along the famous Bahnhofstrasse, continues to Lindenhof, and descends into the charming Niederdorf quarter before reaching the Grossmuenster church – each site telling its own story.

Exciting anecdotes about the industrial pioneer Alfred Escher, Roman Zurich, and the Reformation era bring the city's history to life. Perfect for anyone interested in discovering Zurich from a new perspective.
