Welcome Reception
Following the opening session on the first conference day, all participants are warmly invited to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, from 18:00 in the UniTurm (Floor KOL-M) at the University of Zurich main building.
Conference Dinner
The ESEA Conference Dinner will take place on Thursday, 20 August 2026 at the FIFA Museum (Seestrasse 27) in Zurich. Doors open at 18:00, with an optional guided tour of the museum beforehand; dinner is served from 19:30.
Zurich Old Town Walking Tour
To complement the academic program, participants are invited to join a guided walking tour of Zurich's historic Old Town. The same tour is offered twice:
- Wednesday, 19 August 2026, 10:00–12:00
- Friday, 21 August 2026, 15:00–17:00
Meeting point for both: in front of the UZH main building (Rämistrasse 71). Participation is free of charge for all registered conference attendees.
The two-hour walk leads from the university through the Old Town to the Grossmünster, passing Bahnhofstrasse, the Lindenhof, and the Niederdorf quarter.
