David Oesch received his PhD in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in 2011, after which he joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Finance. In 2014, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Financial Accounting at the University of Zurich, where he served until 2017 when he became a Full Professor of Financial Accounting at the same institution.
